HELEN NARCISSA LANDIS, the daughter of MAJOR ABSALOM LOWE LANDIS and NANCY TANNEHILL CARTER, was born January 01, 1848, in Normandy, Bedford County, Tennessee, USA, and died October 25, 1887, in Winchester, Franklin County, Tennessee, USA.  She married TOWNSEND PORT WESLEY GREEN September 21, 1871, in Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee, USA, son of TOWNSEND PORT GREEN and MARY ANN “POLLY” LANDESS.  He was born May 29, 1849, in Lincoln, Moore County, Tennessee, USA, and died April 02, 1934, in Shelbyville, Bedford County, Tennessee, USA.
