GEORGE MONTGOMERY DAVIS, son of WILLIAM HENRY DAVIS and MARGARET ELLIOT AUSTIN, was born March 1882 in Middleton, Hardeman County, Tennessee, USA, and died January 04, 1928, in Chattahoochee, Gadsden County, Florida, USA.  He married SALLIE ELIZABETH LANDIS on October 09, 1902, in Chattooga County, Georgia, USA, daughter of MELVILLE ALONZO LANDIS and NANCY ELIZABETH SHELTON.  She was born August 25, 1884, in Normandy, Bedford County, Tennessee, USA, and died October 11, 1952, in Marianna, Jackson County, Florida, USA.
